1. The Golden Temple,Amritsar

It is also known as by its formal name Harmandir Sahib, The Golden Temple is one of the most respected places of worship for the Sikh community in India. It is situated in Amritsar which is in Punjab state, Harmandir Sahib is famous for its architecture and gold by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji.

2. Pangong Lake,Ladakh

It is situated between India and Tibet, Pangong Lake is saltwater lake located in the Himalayas in Ladakh. One can reached at that place via a 4-5 hours’ drive from Leh via the Changla Pass. Pangong Tso is known for its blue waters and flocks of  birds that migrate from different locations can be seen here.

3. Akshardham Temple, Delhi

This traditional temple devoted to Bhagwan Swaminarayan that displays the beauty and spirituality of India’s ancient art, culture, and architecture. The Akshardham Mandir in Delhi was built in near about 5 years with 7-11,000 artisans as report said include thousands of volunteers and made unique sculpted sandstones.It was designed by pillars, sasdhus, sculptures depicting deities and animals with scenes from the mythology of Hindu.This is the major Hindu temples in India.

4. Shalimar Bagh,Jammu and Kashmir

The Shalimar Bagh is the biggest of all terraced gardens built by the Mughals in India and is situated in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The garden is situated near the famous Dal Lake. Nevertheless, the design of the gardens was changed and improved by the following rulers and is now a top tourist place in Srinagar.

5. Loktak Lake, Moirang


This largest freshwater lake in the Northern part of India, famous amoung the tourists who plans to visit in Manipur. Lake is well known for its floating circular swamps, as its called phumids. Visitors came here because ot its beauty. It is also famous for its scenic view, wildlife and plant species.

6. Gateway of India, Mumbai

One of the famous, ancient and eye-catching places of Mumbai is Gateway of India. This is the best sightseeing spot in the city.Its remain busy from morning to night or dusk to dawn with tourists.There are number of street foods, ballon sellers. The best time to visit at that place is between in the month of October to March because of its monsoon season, it open 24 hours and near about 2.5 km far from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal airport and Churchgate Railway Station.

7. Marina Beach, Chennai

Marina beach in Chennai is India’s longest and world’s second longest beach. This is  appoximately 12 kilometers extends from Beasant Nagar (south) to Fort St. George (north). Visitors traveling to Chennai never miss to spend the quality time at this grand Chennai beach. People can easily go by buses, taxis, two and three wheelers.

Marina beach is full of numerous activities from sunrise to sunset. Walking along the beaches during the time of dusk and dawn is a pleasant experience for all. After 4’o clock this beach covers with numerous stalls food items, ethnic jewelry, handcrafted showpieces, and selling artifacts. Children are roaming all around the beach and playing games.

Main attractions on the Marina beach are The aquarium and the Ice House.

8. The Taj Mahal, Agra

Taj Mahla is world’s heritage site and listed in the world wonders situated in Agra, this building is built in the memory of his favourite queen by Shah Jahan.It is also known as Crown Palace.

In the full moon night its view is stunning. Visitors can buy tickets to enjoy quality time one day before. It tooks around one decade to complete with near about 20,000 artisans. The most unique feature is the marble dome that surmounts the tomb and 115 feet high

8. Backwaters, Kerala

It is a group of five lagoons attached by natural and manmade canals.The Backwater of Kerala used for paddy fields and it is famous for its beauty view like scenic and numerous varieties of marine life, flora etc.

Best time to visit at that place is from September to March and visitors can do boating and enjoy their time with friends and family.

8. Havelock Island,Andamans

The island is situated in Andamans and this is the largest island at that place and famous for its white sand. Scuba diving and snorkeling are the best and popular activities. Boats which has glass at the bottom provide great view of marine life. Visitors can do treks and camping. People can also enjoy fresh coconut milk and seafood and many other different cuisines. 

9. Mysore Palace,Mysore

The Palace is also known as Amba Vilas Palace, is a ancient palace and royal residence situated In Mysore,Karnataka. Every year near about 6 million people visit at that place. The place is located in heart of city Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hills. It is also called City of Palaces. Palace is famous for its beautiful architectural design.

10. Gwalior Fort, Gwalior

The fort is located in Gwalior,Madhya Pradesh.Gwalior fort is famous for its major monuments such as Gurdwara Data Bandi Chhor, Jain temples,  Garuda monument, Man mandir palace, Hathi Pol,Karn mahal, Vikram mahal,  Chhatri of Bhim Singh Rana. There are several other well famous buildings inside the fort .

11. Jagannath Temple, Puri

The temple name comes in Char Dham Yatra(pilgrimage) in Hindu reiligion, people came here to take blessings of god from the ancient times. Visitors can go between 5am to midnight.This temple covers the area of near about 4,00,000 sq.feet. There are some festivals celebrate at that place with huge crowd such as Chandan Yatra, Snnana Yatra, Anavasara or Anasara, Rath Yatra at Puri,Niladri Bije, Gupta Gundicha and Nabakalebara.

12. Qila Mubarak, Bhatinda


This is one of the oldest Qila in India situated in the center of very famous city of Punjab Is Bathinda.It is known for monument of national importance. It was built by Raja dab.

13. Lake Palace, Udaipur

It is luxury palace situated in the center of Lake Pichola .
